How will this motorcycle run raise funds for the SKI-HI Institute? Through PLEDGES
- Bikers who participate in the main run from Florida to Alaska and
back will obtain pledges (e.g., so many cents per mile) from sponsors.
The riders will approach potential sponsors and ask for pledges for
their participation in the ride. Anyone can pledge any amount to any
of the riders. 100% of these pledges will go to the SKI-HI Institute.
- If you would like to make a pledge to a specific rider shown on our Web site, you can do that as well. You can make a lump sum pledge (such as I pledge $100 to John Doe for participating in the ride) or you can pledge so many cents per mile ridden (such as I pledge 10 cents for each mile that John Doe rides).
